The San Diego Dental Health Foundation is:
A charitable foundation established by dentists in San Diego County for the purpose of serving as an economically stable philanthropic entity dedicated to:
* promoting public understanding of dental health;
* funding dental health programs;
* funding dental education programs.
Established as a charitable foundation in 1992, SDDHF owns the building at 1275 W. Morena Blvd., which houses the San Diego County Dental Society.
We envision this site as becoming increasingly important as a hub of charitable activity in the dental arena. As private and government support for indigent dental programs decreases, this activity is becoming more and more necessary.
The San Diego Dental Health Foundation stands as evidence that San Diego dentists, allied with community and corporate entities, care deeply about the dental health and welfare of all San Diegans, and are willing to work hard to ensure it.
